Barry in 8 years built the biggest individually owned real estate group in Queensland, which sold over 6000 investment properties to clients from all over Australia. Long recognised as one of Australia’s foremost educators on property investment, structure and strategy, Barry became a much sought after speaker on all things real estate and by mid 2007 was speaking at up to 70 events annually, including all national Property Expo’s and World Property Summits. In early 2008 Barry sold the Onsite Direct Group to the publicly listed Asian Pacific Ltd believing investors of today would be better served by a wider range of products offered in the financial services sector. As world economies crumbled in late 2008 and his phone started to light up with clients seeking advice, Barry and Julie were lured out of semi retirement in Darwin to start the Adayoun Capital Markets Group. Julie co founded the group with husband Barry and has been involved in planning from day one. Drawing on her property and retail background to provide state of the art point of sales materials and systems.

 

A successful property investor in her own right, Julie views the after sales service and client follow up as key ingredients to the completion of a successful sale. Her Italian heritage brings a strong family feel to the company and results in a strong close knit working unit. Julie has a full real estate licence and certification 4 in finance which makes her a one stop shop for property investors.                                           

 

 

Alana has been with the company since she finished school in 2002 with a view to learning property investment from the inside out. Her passion to learn and easy going nature has made her a favourite with many clients. She is an avid property investor and is currently looking to buy her 5^th investment property. Alana has her Real Estate sales licence and is certification 4 in finance as well as being a member of the MFAA.

Paul is a Chartered Accountant and Registered Tax Agent with over 9 years in the financial services industry. Initially commencing his accounting career with a National Chartered Accounting Firm, Paul left the taxation and audit area after 6 years and joined a large financial services company employing over 200 people, overseeing the finance and accounting department of this national company. Paul joined Barry Pickering at Onsite Direct in 2003 as CFO and quickly joined Adayoun Capital Markets when the same position became available. Paul is now responsible for the Group’s finance’s, and the continued planning and growth of the company.

After successfully owning and operating two Ray White franchises on the Gold Coast for many years, and taking both offices to the very top of the Ray White Group, Ben’s passion for property investment took over and in Jan 2008 he joined Adayoun. Ben now works alongside Barry and Julie in Darwin and is responsible for growing the business and brand in the territory.
